The MPS consist of policies, text and map.
Generalized Future Land Use Map
Land Use By-law
Provides regulations required to implement the policies of the MPS.
Adopted in conjunction with the MPS.
Can be amended to reflect changing circumstances and new information affecting development policy.
Contains text and map establishing zones, permitted uses for each zone and standards for development.

Subdivision Bylaw
Ensures orderly and efficient division of lands.
Provisions for adequate municipal services.
Consistent with policies and regulations of MPS/ LUB.
Standards for: lot sizes,
water/sewer installation
    and road construction.
